Terms and conditions
The gift cards are offered at the participating Hamster stores and online on hamster.ca. The cards can be used to pay an order, or part of an order online and at any Hamster participating store. A sum between $5 and $500 can be activated in a store. Online, the cards are offered in fixed values of $10, $25, $50 and $100. The cards have no expiry date. Hamster, authorized dealers and the gift card program operator shall not be required to replace or honour a card if it is lost, stolen or damaged. The card can be used to pay your purchases of goods and services in Canadian currency at any Hamster participating stores or online. The card is redeemable, cannot be converted into cash (except for balance of $5 and less) and may not be used to make payments on a credit card account. The card is refundable.
Virtual cards
It is now possible to purchase virtual cards on hamster.ca. The cards can be sent to a specific recipient by email, at a determined date and with a personalized message for each card. You'll get an order confirmation and will be advised if the card has not been redeemed by the recipient after a few days.
